Trade Craft Stall

The Trade Craft stall is available every Sunday after our morning service.

The Fairtrade stall provides the opportunity to buy fair traded goods and so ensure we support smaller farmers and traders - please continue to support the stall and look out for the fair trade goods in the supermarkets.

Health Help International Christmas Gift Catalogue

hhi_logo_animation.png

Our fellowship actively support the HHI charity particularly by using the ambulance collection box to save 20p pieces to support their ambulance service in Africa. This time of year we have another way of supporting the charity - HHI have published an alternative gifts catalog. This contains special gifts for people in need at prices betwen just a few pounds to hundreds of pounds. You pick a gift and send the money to HHI; they arrange for the gift to be sent to the appropriate place and send you a nice card to present to a friend or relative. That way you are getting a gift for someone but the benefactor is somebody more in need.

Gifts include medical supplies, fruit trees, bicycles, animals and even water wells and whole villages.

If you are interested look out for the catlogues in the church porch or of course visit their website via our links page.

Rivertown Is Trading Fairly

Traidcraft

Traidcraft is the UK’s largest Fair Trade organisation, established in 1979, consisting of a trading company with sales of over £10 million a year and a charity with income of over £2 million a year. Together they fight poverty through trade. The trading company provides vital income for producers from 31 countries and the charity works to break down barriers that prevent the poor from gaining access to markets.

Traidcraft specialises in offering customers a vibrant and diverse range of products from across the world – as individual and varied as the producers who create them, and sell fine foods, handmade paper and cards, gifts for all the family, home furnishings, and fashion, jewellery and accessories. Traidcraft works with volunteers called Fair Traders and their work accounts for half of the turnover for the trading company, Traidcraft Plc, helping to improve the lives of its producers overseas. Traidcraft is a Christian based organisation, committed to working with all people to offer producers and their families hope for a better future.
